Frequently Asked Questions
How do Kwik-Hang curtain holdbacks work?
Every Kwik-Hang curtain holdback has a set of pins that attach to the side of the window trim and secure it in place — no drilling, nails or damage required.
Do Kwik-Hang curtain holdbacks work with any type of window or curtain?
Kwik-Hang curtain holdbacks work on windows that have wooden trim. The window trim should be at least 1/2 inch wide to fully accommodate the holdback. Not recommended for use on oak, pvc or metal trim.
Kwik-Hang curtain holdbacks are suitable for all curtains and drapes.
What tools do I need to install my Kwik-Hang curtain holdbacks?
Kwik-Hang’s curtain holdbacks use the same technology as our damage-free curtain rod brackets. Just use a hammer to tap each curtain holdback hook to the side of your window trim (no drills, screws or nails needed!).
Where do I mount my Kwik-Hang curtain holdbacks?
Ideally, curtain holdbacks should be placed 40 to 48 inches from the floor, but this also depends on the placement of your window and your personal preference.
Are Kwik-Hang curtain rod brackets and curtain rods sold separately?
Yes. Kwik-Hang curtain rod brackets and curtain rods are sold separately.
